HonestHustles Mission
HonestHustles helps people find legitimate ways to make money online through honest, hands-on reviews. We cover side hustles, online tools, paid-to-play platforms, and real earning opportunities without hype, fluff, or false promises.Every review is built around one simple question: Is this actually worth your time and money? We focus on what works, what it costs, and what to avoid.
Real Work in ProgressThis site is built and updated in real time, not quietly polished behind the scenes. That means you might occasionally run into a bug, broken link, or feature that is still being dialed in. That is part of the process.
Everything here is tested, improved, and pushed forward continuously to build something genuinely useful, not just something that looks finished. If you run into an issue, feel free to reach out. Feedback helps improve everything faster.
Tester Up App

🎮 Testerup — What It Actually Is
Testerup is a get-paid-to (GPT) platform — a website and app run by
Aestimium GmbH, a registered German company with millions of users. You
sign up free, pick "missions" (mostly downloading mobile games and
hitting levels, plus some surveys), and earn cash paid through PayPal
once you reach a minimum balance. It's a real company and it does pay
some people. It is also one of the most friction-heavy platforms in this
category, and the parts that hurt you are the parts the ads never show.
How it works
You're shown offers that each state a payout, the milestone required,
and a deadline. Most earning comes from games played steadily over days
or weeks. You cannot withdraw until you reach a $70 balance.
What the ads won't tell you
- That $70 minimum is the trap. Most reputable GPT sites let you cash
out at $5–$10. Setting it at $70 means you sink a large amount of time
before you can even test whether payout works — and many problems
surface right as you approach it.
- Multiple users report the withdrawal threshold being raised partway
through, without warning — you reach the target and it moves.
- Progress tracking fails if the game isn't a first-ever install on
your device. People complete milestones and earn nothing, with no
recourse.
- The high-value offers ($100+) frequently can't be finished in the
time limit unless you spend your own money on in-game boosts — which
defeats the entire point.
- Accounts get flagged or suspended near the withdrawal point, and
support is widely reported as slow or unresponsive on payment disputes.
The rating is partly self-manufactured
This is the part worth knowing before you trust the score. To unlock
"Premium Tester" status and the better-paying offers, users report being
required to leave positive reviews — including on Trustpilot. Independent
reviewers have noted "leave a review" appearing as one of the first
tasks. So the ~4-star rating that makes Testerup look safe is inflated
by the platform itself. Judge it by the detailed negative reviews and
the pattern of complaints, not the headline number.
The honest other side
It isn't outright fraud. The company is real, and people who stick to
simple, well-tracked free game offers, never spend money in-app, and
have a lot of disposable time do sometimes reach $70 and get paid within
a few days. If you treat it as something to do while you'd be gaming
anyway, with zero expectations and screenshots of every milestone, it
can return a little. That's the ceiling — a little.
Who it's realistically for
Only someone who already plays a lot of mobile games, has substantial
spare time, will document everything, and will never spend a cent in-app
chasing a reward. It is wrong for anyone wanting reliable income, anyone
short on time, and anyone with low tolerance for tracking failures and
silent support.
The straight version
Technically legitimate, practically stacked against you. It can pay, but
the high threshold, moving goalposts, broken tracking, and a review
score the platform partly engineers itself mean most people invest more
than they get back. Lower-threshold alternatives exist that don't make
you grind to $70 on faith. If you try it anyway: free offers only,
screenshot every step, never pay to progress.
